Students from Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) schools across Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune talk about different aspects of what life is like as a military child during the Month of the Military Child, April 2023. Month of the Military Child recognizes the role that children have in supporting military members and the unique challenges they face growing up in a military family.
Over the past 52 years the Albert J. Ellis airport has grown and its facilities have been maintained, refreshed and upgraded to meet the current and future needs of the region. The Department of Defense recently contributed $2M to a $11M runway rehabilitation project at the airport as part of the Defense Community Infrastructure Pilot (DCIP) Program which is designed to address deficiencies in community infrastructure, supportive of a military installation, in order to enhance military value, installation resilience, and military family quality of life in Richlands, North Carolina, August 23, 2023.

Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Lejeune honors Women's History Month by recognizing women aboard the installation for their achievements, March 29, 2024. In history to the present day, Women Marines have strengthened the Marine Corps through upholding Marine Corps Installations during wartime, supporting and volunteering with the Red Cross, serving on the home front, and fighting on the front lines. MCB Camp Lejeune honors all Women Marines' selfless dedication who serve today and all those who have sacrificed their lives for our country.
This video demonstrates the training capabilities of Range Training Area Management (RTAM), Marine Corps Installations East-Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. RTAM supports II Marine Expeditionary Force in producing the next generation of warfighters.


Members of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) with 403 Helicopter Operations Training Squadron (HOTS) based out of Gagetown, New Brunswick, Canada, conduct their flight engineer and flight instructor course on Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) New River, in Jacksonville, North Carolina, Feb. 4, 2023. The RCAF conducted their training over the course of three and a half weeks on MCAS New River due to inclement weather in Eastern Canada.
The Provost Marshal's Office (PMO) provides services such as school resource officers, gate guards, traffic investigators, and military working dog handlers on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Sep. 19, 2023. PMO protects all personnel and organizations while supporting security and law enforcement on MCB Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station New River.
